My favorite Football Club

Of course there are thousands upon thousands of football teams to like but only one team stands out for me and that is no other than the best club in the world FC Barcelona nicknamed the Blaugrana.

Founded in 1899 in Catalonia the team was first made out of English, Swiss and Spanish people.

Barcelona’s stadium is called Camp Nou which means new field.

These are the 5 reasons why I love FC Barcelona

Reason 1 teamwork

Teamwork plays a huge role in Barca while playing matches. They always pass to each other because they no that if they work together they make the dream work.

Reason 2 Respect

Barcelona always has respect for other teams and each other. They always appreciate their fans and respect each other no matter what mistake happened and hardly ever argue.

Reason 3 Donation’s

Barcelona is always ready to help people in need and refugees. Examples are this football festival in Athens, Greece which will help Refugees from Libya that go to Italy. And it also donates anywhere from 1 to 2 million euros a year to Unicef.

Reason 4 The Player’s

The players that have played for FC Barcelona are all amazing and legendary with some of the best players of all time playing for this club. Players such as Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona, Luis Figo, Ronaldinho and Messi which is still playing for Barcelona and is my favorite football player which is another reason why Barcelona is my favorite Football Club.

Reason 5 History

FC Barcelona’s history is very interesting with lots of ups and downs to create a team like it is today. FC Barcelona is in Catalonia which is a community in Spain but has had multiple protests towards the Spanish government that it wants to become its own country. But when Francisco Franco banned speaking Catalan Camp Nou Barca’s stadium was they only way they could express their thoughts to the government and since then it is a very important place for Catalonia.
